SOPRANO SUSANNA MOLISKI
MUSIC 
Education
​Ms. Moliski began her music studies in her native Finland with piano and the flute before focusing on singing. She has studied privately under The Sibelius Academy emeritus professor Tellervo Pajamies. After completing her Master’s Degree in Finnish Literature in the University Of Helsinki, Ms. Moliski spent a semester in the Royal Welsh College Of Music and Drama in Cardiff, United Kingdom, where she studied vocal performance with Miriam Bowden, Early Music with Andrew Wilson-Dickson, and took a master class with Emily Van Evera.

In Portland Ms. Moliski has studied with Erin Chenard at the Portland Conservatory Of Music.


CURRENT 
Career
​After putting her musical pursuits aside for a while to focus on her career in clinical research, Ms. Moliski has been an active member in the greater Portland music scene.

In 2018 and 2019 she appeared as an ensemble member and as a soloist in the Portland Bach Experience, led by Artistic Director Emily Isaacson, where her performance in Bach’s Magnificat trio Suscepit Israel was hailed 'shapely and focused’ by The Portland Press Herald. In PBE’s 2019 season Ms. Moliski performed alongside with the renowned countertenor Reginald Mobley, and the Dark Horse period brass consort.

For two past consecutive years Ms. Moliski has been the winner of the Avocational Division of the NATS Maine Chapter’s annual competition, where the judges have complimented her ‘true and pure soprano sound’.

Ms. Moliski is a founding member of Dirigo Ensemble, Maine’s new premier a cappella group.
She also serves in the Board Of Directors as Director of Artistic Development. D
irigo Ensemble is a non-profit organization dedicated to musical enrichment of the Maine community through excellence in innovative ensemble performances. In its Inaugural Season Dirigo Ensemble collaborated with Portland Ballet’s Gallery - Choreographers work in their 2020 Season.

Ms. Moliski has also engaged with her community through service in the Music Ministry of The Cathedral Of The Immaculate Conception. After relocating to Helsinki, she has appeared with the Renaissance vocal ensemble Vokaaliyhtye Uoma, and a Helsinki based, award-winning chamber choir Kamarikuoro Värinä.

Ms. Moliski is a former resident of Cape Elizabeth, ME, and a current resident of Helsinki, where she lives with her poetry-loving husband, a clarinetist and classical guitarist son, a daughter who is a ballet dancer, and their non-musical dog.
